Pro-life heretics
Dan Holman - Missionaries to the Pre-Born Iowa
"He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord" Proverbs 17:15
The controversial shooting death of late term abortionist George Tiller has saddened many within the pro-life movement. Fr. Frank Pavone spokesman and director of “Priests of Life” denounces the shooting. You might wonder why such an organization as “Priests for Life is even necessary! Should not all Catholic priests be against abortion? But Pavone is against ALL violence. Priests for Life offers a $50,000 reward to anyone providing authorities with information leading to the capture of fugitives wanted for abortion clinic shootings. Is not the offering of this reward violence in itself?
That amount of reward money might entice some people to shoot an abortionist and turn themselves in!
Why would Priest for Life offer this large amount of money to protect baby-killers while asking for donations to protect babies? Does Priests for Life represent both babies and baby-killers? From baby’s perspective this is a conflict of interest.
Concerning the shooting death of George Tiller Pavone writes: “I think the biggest negative effect of this killing will be on our pro-life movement. Does it tar the movement’s reputation? Yes, it does, despite the fact that those who kill abortionists are always disconnected from pro-life organizations.”
Why is the pro-life movement more concerned about its reputation than the lives of the babies it represents? Just when did the term “pro-life” come to mean against the murder of the pre-born and their killers?
Pavone further writes: “Let the outcry against Tiller’s murder be loud and clear. And let the outcry against the murders he (Tiller) committed”
How about that for a contradiction? Is it possible to murder a murderer? Pavone defines pro-life as being against the death penalty! Apparently God is not pro-life. The Bible gives us 15 reasons why people should be put to death.
Just whom does Priests for Life represent? Priests for Life represent the unbiblical teachings of the Catholic Church.
The unchangeable Catholic Church has recently come out against the death penalty. The Roman Catholic Church was certainly not opposed to the death penalty during the Reformation!
Pavone and others might rightfully say that I am not pro-life, but I used to be pro-life! I did not leave the pro-life movement so much as it left me! The pro-life movement use to represent the babies, now it represents itself. Back in the days when I was pro-life, it meant you were against baby-murder and mercy-killing. But that was before Frank Pavone entered the pro-life movement; it was before Pope John Paul’s 1995 encyclical (Evangelium Vitae) condemning the death penalty. Is it a coincidence that this encyclical came out after 2 abortionists were shot? It fits hand in glove with today’s Catholic teaching on the “Culture of Life.”
The “culture of life” errors in its mercy toward serial killers as the “culture of death” errors for its lack of mercy toward the pre-born.
Troy Newman, director of “Operation Rescue” has been outspoken in condemning Tiller’s killer. He writes: “We deplore the criminal actions with which Mr. Roeder is accused."
Whether the actions be “criminal” or not depends on the legal code one embraces. In God’s economy using force in defending the innocent is not “criminal.”
Troy further writes The pro-life ethic is to value all human life from the moment of conception until natural death. Operation Rescue has diligently and successfully worked for years through peaceful, legal means, and through the proper channels to see to it that abortionists around the nation are brought to justice. Without due process, there can be no justice.”
The opposite of Troy’s statement is true. Tiller’s violent death is justice as the American legal system fails to defend the pre-born. Notice Newman and Pavone agree “the pro-life ethic is to value ALL human life” (emphasis mine). Is Operation Rescue also about rescuing baby’s murderers?
This unbiblical teaching is far reaching. Based on the responses from the Tiller shooting I would estimate that fully 80% of the pro-life movement embraces this heresy! Even such anti-Catholic types as Steve Lefemine and Ralph Ovadal have been influenced by this heresy. Their voices sound the same profound regrets to the shooting deaths of baby-killers as the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops!
What are we to think when pro-lifers stand with baby-killers in condemning those who use force to defend the babies? These men are weeping over Tiller’s grave, issuing condolences to Tiller’s family. Tiller’s family was recipient and beneficiary of his blood money. They approved and defended Tiller’s bloody operation.
Many in America are participating in child-sacrifice. They may be active or unemployed. They may have great or small roles. By virtue of our tax money, we are all guilty; as a nation, we are richly deserving of God’s righteous judgment.
The blood of 50 million innocents is screaming from the ground for vengeance. God is just and holy; HE will not suffer our baby-killing ways for another 37 years to another 50 million innocents. Oh no! Blood must be answered with blood.
It is justice, and it is justifiable homicide in defense of others that Tiller met his bloody end. Today we can rest assured that George Tiller is in a better place.
