Semen Stain Matches Accuser In Homosex Judge Inmates Case
MOBILE, Ala. -- Semen stain evidence that will be used in the prosecution of Herman Thomas was found on carpeting in a small office located steps from the former Mobile County circuit judge's courtroom, according to a state forensics report. Bucks County, Pennsylvania -- A Bucks County judge changed his mind yesterday and sent a former top prosecutor to prison for endangering and corrupting teenage boys in a church youth group. On March 10, Anthony Cappuccio had admitted buying alcohol for three of the teens, smoking pot with them, and having a months-long sexual relationship with one boy. Judge C. Theodore Fritsch sentenced him to three to 23 months of house arrest. Yesterday, Fritsch toughened that sentence considerably, tossing the original punishment and ordering Cappuccio to the county prison for six to 23 months. As he had last month, Fritsch tacked seven years of probation onto the end of the active time. Cappuccio, 32, had been a chief deputy district attorney in Bucks County until early September, when Richland Township police found him partially clothed with a 17-year-old boy in a parked car near Quak.

Woman Admits To Homosex Relationship With Girl, 14
HARRISONBURG -- A Pendleton County, W.Va., lesbian accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old Bridgewater girl pleaded guilty to a half dozen felonies in Rockingham County Circuit Court Tuesday. Alisha Nicole Smith, 20, of Brandywine, W.Va., pleaded guilty to two counts of carnal knowledge of a child, two counts of possession of child pornography, one count of indecent liberties with a child and one count of illegal use of a computer. In a plea agreement with the commonwealth, Rockingham County Circuit Court Judge James Lane sentenced Smith to 35 years in prison, with all but 2½ years suspended. Rockingham County Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Clark Ritchie said the crimes took place in March 2008 and investigators filed charges in July. Ritchie said a family member of the victim found out about the relationship and notified the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office.

Luis Eduardo Ramirez, who used to be assigned to Our Lady of the Pillar parish in Santa Ana, pleaded guilty in June to taking a 17-year-old boy to a motel room and trying to touch him. Joplin Woman Assessed Sentence for Sex Abuse of Girl
A rural Joplin woman pleaded guilty Monday in Jasper County Circuit Court to sexually abusing an underage girl and was sentenced to seven years in prison. Kimberly D. Crandall, 32, 422 E. Fountain Road, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of deviate sexual intercourse in a plea agreement with the Jasper County prosecutor’s office. The agreement called for Crandall to be assessed a seven-year prison term, the maximum sentence for the amended charge under state law, and for the defendant to waive her right to a sentencing-assessment report. The defendant had been charged with first-degree child molestation, a Class B felony that carries from five to 15 years in prison in Missouri. In the course of talking to officers, she reportedly acknowledged sexual misconduct on the part of both her and her husband with respect to an underage girl over the previous two years. She told police that they had engaged in sexual contact with the girl, who was 11 and 12 years of age at the time.

Teacher Michael Dupont Pleads Guilty to Sodomy Charges
LITTLE VALLEY - Michael J. Dupont, a former Salamanca City School District seventh-grade teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a student in 2002, has pleaded guilty to the charges against him. Dupont, 43, entered the guilty plea Monday on two counts of second-degree sodomy for the interactions that occurred during February 2002 and May 2002 with a 14-year-old boy. The first incident took place in the city of Salamanca, with the second taking place in the town of Salamanca. Dupont also pleaded guilty to two counts of disseminating indecent material to minors, stemming from a January 2007 incident in the city of Salamanca in which he showed lewd material on a computer to two other minors.

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. -- A Massachusetts gay who raped a 6-year-old boy in a public library has been sentenced to life in prison. Corey Deen Saunders was sentenced Thursday for the January 2008 rape of the boy at the New Bedford Public Library. He pleaded guilty in February. Prosecutors said Saunders lured the boy into a reading room at the library while the victim's mother worked on a computer only a few feet away. At the time of the attack, Saunders was a Level 3 sex offender and was on probation after serving four years in prison for the attempted rape of a 7-year-old boy.

Itasca Investigator Charged With Criminal Homosex Conduct
HIBBING -- An investigator with the Itasca County Sheriff's Department is at the center of a case similar to some that he’s investigated over his years in law enforcement. Gregory Allan Snyder, 43, of Bovey, was charged in Cass County Friday with 33 counts of felony criminal sexual conduct. He is being held on $500,000 bail. According to the complaint, Snyder allegedly has been sexually assaulting a male youth since the fall of 2004, when the boy was 13 years old. The assaults continued until recently, when a relative of the victim “nearly caught (Snyder) in the act” of rape.

Gay Charged With Molesting Teen At Rec Center
ROOSEVELT, Utha -- A Vernal gay is facing felony charges after police say he sexually assaulted an autistic teenager in the locker room at the community recreation center. Vernal Police Sgt. Bob Taylor said officers were called to the Uintah Community Center on Thursday shortly before 9 p.m. Center employees had detained Taggart John Anderton, 50, after he was found naked in a toilet stall with a 15-year-old boy, Taylor said. The sergeant said Anderton “laid in wait” in the men's locker room until the alleged victim, who is autistic and has other developmental disabilities, entered a shower stall. “Taggert Anderton approached this child and physically molested the child,” Taylor said.

Quincy police officer Danny Church was working a private detail at the hotel and grew suspicious after seeing McKinley and the teen acting affectionately in the lobby on the night of the arrest. The officer quickly learned that a federal agency had red-flagged McKinley that April after cell phone and Internet records showed he offered “gifts” to a 14-year-old in exchange for sex. It was 4 a.m. when police raided McKinley’s hotel room. The boy said McKinley had given him a drink that made him dizzy and showed him pictures of nude boys. He said they had sex. As part of a plea bargain, McKinley pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and distributing obscene material to a minor. Norfolk Superior Court Judge Kenneth Fishman sentenced McKinley last week. In 1985, a jury acquitted McKinley on charges he raped a 13-year-old boy at knifepoint in Randolph.

BLOOMING GROVE -- Gregory Ritter, of Greentown, a teacher in the Bethlehem School District, turned himself in Thursday to answer multiple charges alleging sexual contact with a 14-year-old boy. Ritter, 44, of 155 Tauschman Road, is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intgercourse, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors, criminal attempt to commit unlawful contact with a minor and criminal use of a communication facility. The investigation was initiated by state police after the victim reported the crimes. Through the investigation, it was determined that Ritter met the victim at Camp Trexler, near Kunkletown in Monroe County. Ritter served as a first aid supervisor at the camp.

WILKES-BARRE, PA A decorated middle school teacher is charged with sexually abusing a 14 year old boy. That's the word from state police in Pike County. 44-year old Gregory Ritter teaches in the Bethlehem school district. He turned himself into state police Thursday. State police say this sexual abuse happened at Ritter's house in Greentown, Pike County late last year. Ritter teaches 7th grade at East Hills Middle School in Bethlehem. Police say Ritter met the abuse victim at Camp Trexler in Monroe County. That's a boy scout camp and Ritter was a first aid supervisor there.

Her husband, James Mason, suffered a heart attack June 2 after being forced to swim for a long time in the pool at the Middlefield Village apartment complex, where they lived. Brian Rossi, 36, of Milford, was released with strict conditions to the custody of his father during a probable cause and detention hearing in U.S. District Court yesterday. After his arrest on Feb. 4 following an international child pornography sting, U.S. Magistrate Judge Timothy S. Hillman sent Mr. Rossi to St. Vincent Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation after arresting officers said he had threatened to commit suicide. He was released from the hospital and brought to court yesterday for the hearing.

SYRACUSE, NY -- A Fulton gay was sentenced to 120 years in prison Thursday for sexually abusing four boys and for producing child pornography. Efrain Rosa, 38, of 30 W. 11th St., admitted in October to three counts of producing child pornography and one count of witness tampering. Rosa told police that he had molested at least five children. Prosecutors say Rosa also coerced a 12-year-old into falsely claiming the child had produced the pornographic images so Rosa could avoid punishment.

A former teacher and debate coach at Buhler High School has been sentenced to more than 13-and-a-half years in state prison; 68-year-old Richard Young was convicted for sex crimes against minors. The case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE); the Reno County sheriff's office; the Buhler police department; the Wichita police department's Exploited and Missing Children's Unit (EMCU); the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, police department's Special Victims Unit (PPDSVU); San Bernardino, California, sheriff's office; and the Purdue University police department. Matthews molested him more than 100 times in a south county funeral home and fire station - forever scarring him and at least two other boys who also came forward to police. ... Matthews, now 51, of Edgewater, entered an Alford plea to one count of third-degree sexual abuse as part of a plea agreement with the state. It was the third such conviction for Matthews, who was found guilty in 1997 of child abuse and two counts of sodomy. Those cases stemmed from 1978 and also involved teenage boys. NEW BEDFORD, Mass. -- A convicted sex offender has pleaded guilty to raping a 6-year-old boy at the New Bedford Public Library a year ago. Corey Deen Saunders entered the plea Monday to charges that include of rape of a child, indecent assault and battery, enticing a child and threats to commit a crime. Saunders was arrested Jan. 30, 2008, after he was accused of luring the boy to the magazine stacks while the child's mother worked on a computer just a few feet away. Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter asked Superior Court Judge Robert Kane to sentence the Saunders to life in prison, citing the age of the victim and the fact that the 27-year-old had already been convicted for the 2000 attempted rape of a 7-year-old boy.

Police: Illinois Teacher Claims to Have Molested 75 Boys
An Illinois middle school teacher charged with 10 counts of illegal possession of child pornography has reportedly admitted to molesting dozens of boys.
 Kenneth Lee Johnson told police he sexually abused 75 boys over the past 35 years, but those claims have not been substantiated, according to MyFOXChicago.com.
 "Right now, we have no indication there were any victims in our school district," Antioch Elementary District 34 superintendent Scott Thompson told MyFOXChicago.
 Johnson, who taught social studies in District 34 for 20 years was arrested Jan. 20 after an FBI tip led local authorities to interview him, MyFOXChicago reported.

A New Yorker serving in the U.S. Coast Guard filed a lawsuit Thursday claiming he was molested repeatedly by a counselor at a popular Catskills summer camp. Now 21, Cory Legnetti said Peter Evans began preying on him in 1998 when he was 10 at Camp Chipinaw in Swan Lake, N.Y., according to a lawsuit filed in Manhattan. The lawsuit also alleges Evans has "sexually molested numerous children." Camp Chipinaw, which has been hosting campers ages 7 through 17 since 1926, is named in the lawsuit. So is the Connecticut-based Camp America, which allegedly recruited Evans to work at Camp Chipinaw.

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- A youth league sports coach has been ordered held on $1 million bail after being accused of sexually molesting four boys he coached in Orange County. Cameron Baca, a paid basketball and football coach in San Juan Capistrano, is scheduled to be arraigned next week on 16 felony counts. His bail was set Friday. Farrah Emami of the district attorney's office says Baca befriended the families of the victims, who range in age from 11 to 13. She says he groomed the boys by inviting them to his home for meals and buying them baseball cards. He allegedly showed some of the victims pornography.

Steven Maxwell Gooden, 33, was arrested Dec. 24 and booked into the Garfield County Detention Facility on a complaint of sodomy. Good was convicted in 2005 after he admitted to authorities in February 2005 he forced a 7-year-old girl to perform oral sex on him during the summer of 2003 with the promise of a Sprite. He pleaded guilty to a felony count of forcible sodomy in July 2005 and was sentenced three months later. SANTA ANA -- A youth league sports coach and referee was arrested Thursday night for allegedly molesting a boy under the age of 14 who played on one of his teams. He was free on bail Friday. Cameron Baca, 27, of San Clemente, was arrested on suspicion of oral copulation and sodomy, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department. The alleged molestations occurred about two years ago and were not reported at the time. The parents of the boy contacted sheriff's investigators Dec. 9, however, because Baca had apparently been trying to reestablish contact with their son. Child pornography was recovered from Baca's home when he was arrested, said Jim Amormino of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Therefore, such officials and judges are not only anti-Christian by approving of homosexuality, they make the civil government a vile cesspool from which the abominations vomit out across the land. By displaying such a contempt for the administration of Justice, such civil officials are not only the source of the defilement (Lev.18:24-25), they are the criminals (Rom.1:32), and a hostile enemy authorizing the destruction of the society in which we live (Jude 1: 7).

The Rev. James W. O'Neill is expected to be deposed today by lawyers for Eric Eden of Wilmington. O'Neill is a priest with the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. He responded to questions about Eden's allegations in the first deposition, taken in September 2004, but invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination some 190 times in a second deposition in July. Eden says O'Neill abused him hundreds of times during a nine-year period that ended in 1985 after he told his parents.

WASHINGTON -- A former aide to Sen. Maria Cantwell is in federal custody after being arrested on a charge of attempting to sexually exploit a minor. James Michael McHaney was fired Friday from his job as a scheduler for Cantwell, D-Wash., hours after he was arrested by FBI agents. According to court papers, McHaney, known as Mike, tried to arrange a lunchtime meeting with an unidentified person posing as a 13-year-old boy. When the witness asked whether McHaney was interested in sex with a 13-year-old, McHaney allegedly replied, "I'll be there," the court papers said. He later asked for a photo of the child.

MILWAUKEE -- A mother in Wisconsin is facing a sexual assault charge for allegedly having her daughter take part in sex acts along with her decades ago. A Milwaukee County Circuit Court criminal complaint alleges that nearly 23 years ago, Nancy E. Brome, 58, of Delavan had her then 8-year-old daughter engage in various sexual acts, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said Saturday. The sex charges against Brome and Joseph Hallows, a disbarred Wauwatosa lawyer, stemmed from recent testimony from Browe's daughter, now 31, and a series of diary entries.

He is accused of abusing children while running an unlicensed private clinic in Brooklyn during the 1980s. In December 1984, New York police charged that on two occasions in June of that year, Mondrowitz abused a 10-year-old boy at his home.

FRANKLIN -- A Williamson County grand jury has indicted former Independence High School teacher Heather Thorsby on seven counts related to an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student. Thorsby, 34, is charged with three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure, two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and two counts of exploitation of a minor by electronic means. Prosecutors presented the case to a grand jury on Nov. 5. In May, Williamson County Sheriff Ricky Headley said Thorsby told school officials she’d been having an inappropriate relationship with a female student. Headley said the relationship began as a friendship but turned sexual. The girl turned 18 in March. Her parents uncovered the relationship after finding a message in her room, Headley said. The parents went to school officials.
