BOISE -- A former Boy Scout camp counselor who admitted molesting at
least a dozen boys is back in custody. Bradley Stowell was released five
weeks ago after serving three years of his two-to-14 year sentence for
a probation violation stemming from his 1997 arrest on charges in Eastern
Idaho. He was picked up by Idaho Department of Correction Probation and
Parole officials just before noon Tuesday in Boise. IDOC spokesperson Jeff
Ray tells NewsChannel 7 that Stowell was in possession of a computer that
had the capability to access the Internet. Stowell was released from prison
June 2nd despite a recommendation from a hearing officer that he's still
a risk and should remain behind bars. The Stowell molestation cases have
had far-reaching effects, with the Idaho Legislature passing several laws
championed by the family of the abused brothers to boost sentences and
expand victims' rights.

A Springfield gay who forcibly sodomized his mentally handicapped neighbor
will serve three decades in prison, a Greene County judge ruled Thursday.
David Dempsey, 46, received two concurrent life sentences. Greene County
Circuit Court Judge Tom Mountjoy found him guilty of two counts of forcible
sodomy in April. In May 2005, Dempsey had just moved into a Springfield
apartment complex when he knocked on a 25-year-old neighbor's door in the
early morning, Clark said. Dempsey told his mentally handicapped neighbor
he'd been kicked out of his apartment, and convinced the man to let him
spend the night. When the victim fell asleep, Dempsey forced himself on
the man, Clark said.

Claiming to Have Had Sex With Obama Arrested

A Minnesota gay trying to get mainstream exposure for his claims that
he once enjoyed sex and cocaine with Barack Obama made a scheduled appearance
at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Wednesday, and was promptly
picked up by law enforcement on an out-of-state warrant. Larry Sinclair,
46, was allowed to deliver his presentation to the smattering of reporters
in attendance before deputy U.S. Marshals quietly led him away in handcuffs,
Sinclair's lawyer confirmed Thursday. Already burdened with a long rap
sheet, Sinclair was wanted on a criminal warrant in Delaware. The arrest
followed a failed campaign by Firedoglake, a leading liberal blog, to prevent
Sinclair from airing his allegations at the prestigious Press Club.
Sinclair claims to have had sex and snorted drugs with Barack Obama
in the back of a limousine in 1999 while Obama was a state legislator.
The claims are unsubstantiated, and Sinclair first made them in a YouTube
video released this January, which has garnered over 900,000 views
-- despite Sinclair's long history of criminal fraud, and his flunking
of a polygraph on the supposed tryst.

Jailed for 15-Year After Attacks on Young Boys
A predatory paedophile groomed and sexually assaulted four young boys
while he was a Southampton publican, a court heard. Paul Bedard plied the
boys with alcohol, showered them with money, clothes and cigarettes to
win their trust and then took advantage of them for his own sexual gratification.
The 63-year-old, formerly in charge of the Honest Lawyer, was convicted
of eight counts of indecent assault, two counts of buggery, one of attempted
buggery and one of false imprisonment. Today he is beginning a 15-year
jail term. His victims were aged between 11 and 18 years. Most of the offences
took place while they were in their early teens.

Officials say the child has countless cigarette burns all over

forced to put them flat on a hot stove.
The boy was also repeatedly beaten and forced to sit in his own
urine, police said.
"In my time in policing in 27 years, I have never seen anybody
with these kinds of injuries that has lived," Los Angeles Police Department
First Assistant Chief James McDonnell said. "And this kid must have a tremendous
will to live to be able to still hang on despite what he's been through."
The abuse was "akin to a level of torture we hope our military

SANTA ROSA -- A Petaluma gay was sentenced to 14 years and eight months
in prison in Sonoma County Superior Court this week on charges of furnishing
drugs to a minor during sexual encounters with him for more than a year.
Robert Reeves Blakewood, 69, was convicted after pleading no contest in
April to 12 felony charges including oral copulation with a minor, transporting
a minor for a lewd act, providing methamphetamine to a minor, committing
a lewd act on a 15-year-old, sodomy with a minor under 16 years old and
possession of child pornography. He was remanded to San Quentin State Prison
after his sentencing Monday.

School Office Worker Jenniffer Lindsey Arrested for Homosexual Crimes
SILVERTON, Ore. -- A 26-year old Silverton High School office worker
was arrested late Monday night on three counts of sodomy and 10 counts
of sex abuse performed on a student. Jenniffer Lindsey Rich is accused
of inappropriate conduct with a female student inside Rich's northwest
Portland home. Rich is currently being held at Multnomah County jail with
a $45,000 bail. The Silver Falls School District Superintendent, Craig
Roessler said that it was a Vice-Principal at the Freshman Campus of Silverton
High School who reported the incident.

Begins for Gay Canadian Accused of Sexually Abusing Thai Boy
The trial of a British Columbia teacher accused of sexually abusing
a nine-year-old in Thailand began Monday in Bangkok. Christopher Paul Neil
has pleaded not guilty to all charges in the case, a court statement said.
The 33-year-old man from Maple Ridge, B.C., worked as a teacher in different
parts of Asia before he was arrested last October.

A 27-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was jailed Thursday on $25,000 cash
bail after two young boys said he repeatedly asked them to leave the Lakeside
Inn with him. Nery Mejia-Miranda was booked for two counts of unlawful
contact with children, a gross misdemeanor. The Douglas County Sheriff's
Office is asking anyone who may have had contact with him or been advised
by their children of similar incidents to call Lake Tahoe Investigations
Division at 586-7250. When questioned by deputies through an interpreter,
Mejia-Miranda denied the allegations, but gave three different accounts
of the incident. Mejia-Miranda said he was an illegal immigrant from El
Salvador. Jail officials contacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement
officials.

BALTIMORE -- The Maryland U.S. attorney's office says a Frederick gay
has been sentenced to 25 years is prison for making videos of sex acts
with boys and distributing them through the Internet and elsewhere. Larry
Cordell, 42, of Frederick pleaded guilty in March to sexually exploiting
minors to produce child pornography. Prosecutors say they seized 10 videotapes
showing the abuse and that Cordell enticed the victims with money.

Sentenced 20 Years For Attack on 15-Year-Old Boy
The Spotsylvania gay whom a jury found guilty Thursday of forcibly
sodomizing a 15-year-old boy could spend 23 years in jail. The jury recommended
Cecil Lamont Bryant, 43, spend 20 years on the sodomy conviction, two years
for distributing marijuana to a juvenile and one year for contributing
to the delinquency of a minor. Commonwealth's Attorney Bill Neely said
a pre-sentence report will be made for Bryant's formal sentencing in April.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A young boy's revelation to his grandmother has
led to a Kansas City "man" being charged with several sex crimes. According
to court documents, charges were filed against 37-year-old Darrin R. Wilkinson

Wilkinson had engaged in sex acts with him. The crimes happened on several
occasions between May and August of 2007, at Wilkinson's Kansas City residence,
the victim told his grandmother. The youngster was later questioned by

grandmother about. Wilkinson was charged Thursday with three counts of
first degree statutory sodomy and one count of first degree child molestation.

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. -- A convicted gay who was released from prison
over prosecutors' objections has been charged with raping a 6-year-old
at a public library while the boy's mother used a computer nearby. Corey
Saunders was arrested outside a homeless shelter Wednesday evening shortly
after a librarian saw them together, became suspicious and notified the
mother, authorities said. Saunders, 26, was convicted in 2001 of indecent
assault and battery and attempted rape on a child for attacking a 7-year-old
boy in a foster home where he was placed. He was released about a year
ago by a judge even though prosecutors and three psychologists said he
was likely to strike again.

as he lay partially paralyzed in his bed at the Concord Care and Rehabilitation
Center. Riems told police he had abused almost 100 patients since 1985,

Anthony D. Harper, a West Seneca middle school French teacher and wrestling
coach, Monday pleaded not guilty to charges of sodomizing a 13- year-old

WILMINGTON, Del. -- The former principal of Salesianum School must
answer more questions sexual abuse allegations made against him by a former
student in a 2004 lawsuit, a Superior Court judge has ruled. The Rev. James
W. O'Neill is expected to be deposed today by lawyers for Eric Eden of
Wilmington. O'Neill is a priest with the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales.
He responded to questions about Eden's allegations in the first deposition,
taken in September 2004, but invoked his Fifth Amendment right against
self-incrimination some 190 times in a second deposition in July. Eden
says O'Neill abused him hundreds of times during a nine-year period that
ended in 1985 after he told his parents.

with at least five boys during his tenure with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis,

WASHINGTON -- A former aide to
Sen. Maria Cantwell is in federal custody after being arrested on a
charge of attempting to sexually exploit a minor. James Michael McHaney
was fired Friday from his job as a scheduler for Cantwell, D-Wash., hours
after he was arrested by FBI agents. According to court papers, McHaney,
known as Mike, tried to arrange a lunchtime meeting with an unidentified
person posing as a 13-year-old boy. When the witness asked whether McHaney
was interested in sex with a 13-year-old, McHaney allegedly replied, "I'll
be there," the court papers said. He later asked for a photo of the child.

MILWAUKEE -- A mother in Wisconsin is facing a sexual assault charge
for allegedly having her daughter take part in sex acts along with her
decades ago. A Milwaukee County Circuit Court criminal complaint alleges
that nearly 23 years ago, Nancy E. Brome, 58, of Delavan had her then 8-year-old
daughter engage in various sexual acts, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
said Saturday. The sex charges against Brome and Joseph Hallows, a disbarred
Wauwatosa lawyer, stemmed from recent testimony from Browe's daughter,
now 31, and a series of diary entries.

Priest's Plea May End Jail Time?
Former Roman Catholic priest Daniel C. Clark has pleaded guilty to
two charges of sexually abusing boys in Bullitt County under an agreement
that could spare him further time in prison. Clark was scheduled to face
a retrial beginning today on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse after
the Kentucky Supreme Court overturned his original conviction in 2003.
Under the plea agreement, Clark would serve probation for the remainder
of his sentence, Bullitt Commonwealth's Attorney Michael Mann said.

The jury believed the soft-spoken boy. Even though in court he couldn't
recognize his attacker -- whose face was obscured behind a bushy beard
-- the 9-year-old had said, yes, it was Tommy Wayne Boyd who lured him
into those woods. So jurors convicted the 30-year-old Springfield man Thursday
of attempted enticement of a child, a felony. His public defender plans
on appealing the verdict, and will also file for a new circuit court trial.
The verdict marks the third time Boyd's been in the penal system for a
sex crime. According to court documents, Boyd had earlier been "in the
juvenile system for the very same kind of crime, for sodomy of a 12-year-old

Suspect in Rape of Boy Denied Release on Bail
PLEASANTON -- A request to set bail for a Livermore man accused of
molesting and raping a 15-year-old relative repeatedly over the last 11
years was rejected by an Alameda County Superior Court judge Wednesday,
sending some of the more than 40 of the defendant's family members from
the courtroom in tears. Ariel Bumanlag, 41, faces nine counts each of aggravated
sodomy on a child younger than 14 and aggravated oral copulation of a child
younger than 14, three counts of sodomy by use of force, and two counts
of forcible oral copulation. He was arrested Nov. 7, two days after the
most recent alleged assault. He remained in Santa Rita jail without bail
Thursday.

A "man" living in a Unadilla trailer park was arrested Sunday on charges
he sodomized a child younger than 11, used a child in a sexual performance
and promoted a sexual performance by a child. Steven T. Hunt, 52, faces
three felony charges including first-degree criminal sexual act. He was
arraigned in Sidney Village Court and sent to Delaware County jail on $100,000
bail. The alleged sexual contact occurred in the village of Sidney, but
Hunt lived at a trailer park in the town of Unadilla, said Sidney-based
state police Investigator Jamie Bell.

extremist. An anonymous website said that Fred Thompson was a corrupt playboy.

A former teacher has escaped immediate jail after succumbing to her
love for a troubled student by having lesbian sex in bushland in Perth.
Elizabeth Anne Crothers, 50, received a two-year jail term, suspended for

May Extradite Homosexual Abuse Suspect
JERUSALEM -- A man who fled the U.S. for Israel more than two decades
ago amid accusations he sexually abused children while pretending to be
a rabbi and psychologist appeared in court in Jerusalem, a step toward
his possible extradition. Abraham Mondrowitz, 60, a member of the ultra-Orthodox
Gur Hasidic Jewish sect, arrived in court Sunday after his arrest in Jerusalem
on Friday. He is accused of abusing children while running an unlicensed
private clinic in Brooklyn during the 1980s. In December 1984, New York
police charged that on two occasions in June of that year, Mondrowitz abused
a 10-year-old boy at his home.

A former Columbia police officer accused of killing a University of
Missouri-Columbia student he was having a homosexual affair with three
years ago has returned to Boone County to await a new first-degree murder
trial. Steven Rios, 30, arrived at the Boone County Jail at about 5 p.m.
Friday, Boone County sheriff’s Capt. Warren Brewer said. Rios is being
held in isolation because he is a former law enforcement officer.

Years Later, a Homosexual Child Abuse Suspect's Extradition Is Sought
Prosecutors in Brooklyn said yesterday they were pursuing the extradition
of a gay who fled to Israel more than 20 years ago after being accused
of molesting young boys. The gay, Avrohom Mondrowitz, 59, was indicted
in 1985 on eight counts of child abuse and five counts of sodomy involving
four boys ages 9 to 15. He left for Israel before he could be arrested.
Michael Lesher, a lawyer for six other men who said they had been molested
by Mr. Mondrowitz, said that Mr. Mondrowitz was believed to have sexually
assaulted boys while posing as an educator or psychological counselor in
Borough Park, Brooklyn.

Teacher Indicted On Sex Charges
FRANKLIN -- A Williamson County grand jury has indicted former Independence
High School teacher Heather Thorsby on seven counts related to an alleged
inappropriate relationship with a student. Thorsby, 34, is charged with
three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure, two counts of sexual
battery by an authority figure and two counts of exploitation of a minor
by electronic means. Prosecutors presented the case to a grand jury on
Nov. 5. In May, Williamson County Sheriff Ricky Headley said Thorsby told
school officials she’d been having an inappropriate relationship with a
female student. Headley said the relationship began as a friendship but
turned sexual. The girl turned 18 in March. Her parents uncovered the relationship
after finding a message in her room, Headley said. The parents went to
school officials.
